In Japanese Windows environment, it has Windows specific issue.

LimeWire 4.2.2 draws "dots" instead of combining characters.
So we have to:
1) if target platform is Windows
2) apply Normalization form C on search result listbox to display
international font correctly

It seems Windows dose not have the font map of decomposed characters.

heavy,

Is this only on search results, or on all messages in the interface? Search
results should already be normalized before LimeWire even gets them (I'm
pretty sure -- have to double check on that). I have a feeling that this
_might_ be fixed once we get LimeWire 4.2.3 out there, which fixes some of
the international problems of 4.2.2.

Thanks,
Sam

This is on search results. If you have Windows environment,
please try search with Japanese keyword
( ex. LOCALE_LANGUAGE_NAME of MessagesBundle_ja.UTF-8.txt ).

I have attached the screenshot. Red circles are Japanese combining characters.
