Hi Folks,

How do you all like the JIRA emails sent to this list (and the ***@core
list, for core issues)? We can customize how the email is displayed,
so if there's something you'd prefer to see (or not prefer to see), let
us know and we can make the emails better.

Thanks,
Sam

Perhaps a dedicated list for them? I find process-tracker spam hugely
annoying when it's not on a bug I've taken active interest in.

Hi Robert,

Ideally, we'd like the JIRA messages to flow seamlessly with other
mailing list traffic. That is, what we would previously have discussed
on this list as a bug that needs fixing, we'll now discuss on JIRA and
have the messages sent here. You can also assign yourself as a
'watcher' to any bugs you've taken a particular interest in, and those
bugs will be sent to your personal email account instead of the list
account.

I agree that process-tracking messages can become 'spammy' -- but we'd
like to keep the conversations within JIRA (so we have the history for
each issue), and we're also trying to keep the community informed of
what's going on.

Thanks,
Sam
