Here is an overview of the issue:
---------------------------------------------------------------------
Key: GUI-14
Summary: Magnet Link Upgrade: Multiple Magnet Links
Type: Improvement
Status: Open
Priority: Major
Project: gui
Assignee: Sam Berlin

Environment: All
Description:
Suppose you want to publish 100 short videos you made for your website, if you were to publish the magnet links on your site, it would take you forever to grab those links from the "Magnet Details" pages on LimeWire.
You should be able to select the 100 videos on your library, and when you right click, it should say "Magnet details for the files"
Then a similar page opens up
(http://localhost:45100/magcmd/detail?)
, but this time, it generates a copy & paste friendly page with 3 sections.
First section: "Magnets" it shows a <text></text> control with all the Magnets on top of each other, ready to be copied and pasted. Webmasters who want to put the magnet links of their content in a database would love you for this, they could create a script to insert the magnets in their database or something using this text field.
Second section: "HTML Links", pretty much the same as above, but this one already has the <a href=>File Name</a>, into it. In here you could play a little bit on the Options section, and add "Magnet Link" Options, and the user could select how the HTML links are to be generated, with stuff like:
$filename $year $size $bitrate $author $genre
So the HTML Links would countain different things inside the <a>HERE</a> tags. Web Master would worship you for this, in case they want to generate a bunch of automated, customizable links out of their Libraries.
I truly believe this should be there, in terms of Magnet links.
-- as for downloading
The same could apply when downloading. If a webmaster puts a bunch of Magnets on a text area, for the user to copy, when the LimeWire window enters in focus, it should ask the question it does now, but saying, "Do you want to download the N magnet links you have on your clipboard?" and hell yeah, that would be really cool for whoever is downloading.
